The short version
Approved creators get Lifetime Marker North and Navigator access, a Creator badge, and a spotlight card on markernorth.com for as long as they are a sponsor. In return, creators show a Marker North panel or link on their channel, disclose the sponsorship, and use Navigator when they drive on stream. There is no payment in either direction, and either side can end the sponsorship at any time. The full terms below are what count.
1. Agreement to These Terms
The Marker North Creator Program (the “Program”) is operated by Marker North. By applying to or taking part in the Program, you agree to these Creator Program Terms, the Marker North Terms of Service, and the Privacy Policy. If these Creator Program Terms conflict with the Terms of Service about the Program, these Creator Program Terms apply.
2. Eligibility and Applying
You must be at least 18 years old, have a Marker North account in good standing, and create public content (such as live streams or videos) featuring American Truck Simulator or Euro Truck Simulator 2 on a public platform such as Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, or Kick.
Applications are reviewed personally by Marker North. We may consider your content, audience, streaming schedule, community conduct, and any other factor we choose. Marker North may accept or decline any application for any reason or no reason, and is not required to explain a decision. Applying does not guarantee acceptance. You may apply again later.
3. What You Receive
While you are an active sponsor in the Program, Marker North provides:
- Lifetime access: Marker North and Navigator access at no charge on your account. “Lifetime” means for as long as your sponsorship remains active; it ends when the sponsorship ends.
- Creator badge: a Creator badge on your driver profile.
- Spotlight card: a card with your channel name, logo, tagline, and a link to your channel that may rotate on the markernorth.com home page. Marker North decides whether, when, and how often cards are shown.
The Program does not include any payment, revenue share, commission, or other money, and these benefits cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged for cash.
4. What We Ask in Return
While you are an active sponsor, you agree to:
- Display the Marker North panel (provided by us) in your Twitch channel’s About panels and/or include the Marker North link in the descriptions of your YouTube streams and videos, or an equivalent visible placement on your platform, linking to https://markernorth.com.
- Clearly disclose the sponsorship as described in Section 5.
- Use Marker North Navigator on stream when you drive, where practical. You are free to give your honest opinion of Marker North at any time.
- Follow the Marker North Terms of Service and community rules, and your platform’s rules.
You do not have to put Marker North in your stream titles, read scripted messages, or promise any number of viewers, streams, or sign-ups.
5. Sponsorship Disclosure
Because you receive something of value (free access) from Marker North, you must make the relationship clear to your audience wherever you promote Marker North, as required by advertising and endorsement rules such as the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s Endorsement Guides and by your platform’s policies. The Marker North panel and the suggested description text already include “Sponsored by Marker North”. If you mention Marker North elsewhere, add a clear note such as “#sponsored” or “Marker North sponsors my channel.” Never say or suggest that you paid for Marker North or that you are not sponsored.
6. Brand Use
While you are a sponsor, Marker North grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to use the Marker North name, logo, and panel artwork, as provided by us and without changing them, only to show your sponsorship. You may not suggest that you are a Marker North employee, staff member, moderator, or official representative, or speak on Marker North’s behalf.
You grant Marker North permission to display your channel name, logo, tagline, and channel link on markernorth.com and Marker North’s community spaces while you are a sponsor, and to mention that you are a Marker North creator. You confirm you have the right to let us use that material. We will remove your spotlight card when your sponsorship ends; past announcements or posts may remain.
7. Content and Conduct
You are solely responsible for your own streams, videos, chat, and other content. Marker North does not control or approve your content. Marker North may end your sponsorship if your content or conduct breaks your platform’s rules or the Marker North Terms of Service, includes hateful, harassing, or illegal material, or in Marker North’s judgment reflects poorly on Marker North or its community.
8. Ending the Sponsorship
Marker North may remove you from the Program at any time, for any reason or no reason, with or without notice. You may leave the Program at any time by telling us through the Marker North Support Center or Discord.
When the sponsorship ends, for any reason: your Lifetime access, Creator badge, and spotlight card end immediately and your account returns to the standard access that applies to other drivers; your permission to use Marker North branding ends; and you agree to remove the Marker North panel and sponsorship links within 7 days. Your Marker North account itself, your trip history, and your statistics are not affected by leaving the Program, unless your account is separately suspended or terminated under the Terms of Service.
Marker North may also change or end the Program as a whole at any time. If the Program ends, we will tell current sponsors through email or Discord.
9. No Guarantees
Marker North, CAPS, and Navigator are Alpha (early-access) software provided “as is” and “as available,” as described in the Terms of Service. Marker North does not guarantee any level of uptime, features, accuracy, or availability, and does not promise that taking part in the Program will bring you viewers, followers, subscribers, income, or growth.
10. Our Relationship
You take part in the Program as an independent creator. Nothing in these terms creates an employment, contractor, agency, partnership, or joint-venture relationship. You are not entitled to wages, benefits, or reimbursement, and you are responsible for any taxes that may apply to you. You may work with or promote other products, including other trucking-simulator tools, while you are a sponsor.
11. Application Information
When you apply, we collect your channel name and links, your average viewers and schedule, the games and map mods you use, your Discord username, where to find your Marker North panel or link, and anything else you choose to tell us. We use this information only to review your application, run the Program, and contact you about it. Review notes are private to Marker North staff. Your spotlight card information is public while you are a sponsor. Other handling of your information is described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Liability
The disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification sections of the Terms of Service apply to the Program. You agree to indemnify Marker North against claims arising from your content, your use of Marker North branding outside these terms, or your failure to disclose the sponsorship, to the extent permitted by law.
13. Changes to These Terms
Marker North may update these Creator Program Terms. We will tell current sponsors about material changes by email or on Discord before they take effect. Continuing in the Program after the changes take effect means you accept them; if you do not, you may leave the Program.
14. Governing Law
These Creator Program Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, in the same way as the Terms of Service, including its dispute provisions.
15. Contact
Questions about the Creator Program can be sent through the Marker North Support Center or by email at [email protected].
