Euro Truck Simulator 2 arrives

October 2026

• Navigator, the tablet and Shadow work in Euro Truck Simulator 2 as a beta: kilometres, litres and euros, and EU driving-time rules on the HOS tab. The website’s live map stays ATS only for now; ETS2 is coming soon.
• ETS2: with no map yet, Navigator downloads a ready-made Europe map and shows it while your own map builds.
• ETS2 ferries show the right crossing time, so routes use them when they should.
• UK divided roads are drawn on the correct side. ETS2 maps built before this update are rebuilt once.
• Routes to a company end in the yard, not on the highway beside it, so the docking guide can take over.
• A new map never switches in while you’re driving a route. Navigator tells you it’s ready and you choose “Use it now”.
• Map builds explain themselves: a slow PC, a missing file or a PC that went to sleep is named plainly. Mods that broke other drivers’ builds are left out right away.
• Report a wrong turn with the flag button on the turn panel, or tell Shadow “that turn was wrong”. It copies a short report for Discord.
• Trip history shows whether the pre-trip and post-trip inspections were signed.
• On the pop-out tablet, the docking guide comes up by itself while you back in, then goes back to your screen.
• Ask Shadow how much diesel costs and where it’s cheaper on your route.
• After your first clean run on a segment, Navigator asks once if you want to post your times to the public leaderboard.
• “Start CAPS when Windows starts” and “Open this window when Windows starts” are now two separate switches.
• The Hub shows “Navigator is working” instead of “off” while Navigator works out a new job.
• Navigator Pro: your driving coach report card shows on the trip’s page on markernorth.com, wherever you share that trip. Pro members can give a friend a free week of Pro once a month.

Marker North is now in Alpha

October 24, 2026

• Marker North moves from Pre-Alpha to Alpha.
• The Marker North Hub: a window for CAPS with Home, the docked or popped-out tablet, Drive view (map, gauges, trip, truck and Shadow panels you can move, resize and pop out), Shadow settings, phone pairing, your account, and privacy and data. It opens when Windows starts (you can turn that off), never while ATS runs, and is in English and Spanish.
• Docking guide: back up within 150 m of the delivery and the tablet shows the bays, your truck and trailer and the trailer’s path, with cues for the wheel. It closes when you set the parking brake, drive off or deliver. Turn it off in Options > Guidance.
• Natural voices for Shadow, Moana, Officer Sandi and Loki, made on your PC; slower PCs keep the earlier voices automatically. Moana takes the night desk, Officer Sandi reads inspection results, and Loki joins channel 19 now and then.
• Shadow can call you by name (Options > Voice), and the push-to-talk key is back in the CAPS tray menu.
• Shadow’s ears: ask anything out loud with push-to-talk; your voice is turned into text on your own PC, with no Windows setting to change. Navigator Pro adds Pro ears for accents, road noise and place names.
• Spoken turn-by-turn directions in English use Shadow’s own voice.
• Your runs on Discord: your Discord profile shows your load, destination and truck while you drive (Hub > Privacy & data to turn it off).
• Navigator starts by itself when the Hub opens, once this PC has a finished map.
• Help in the Hub: the Help Center inside the window, with Send diagnostics and built-in fixes when you’re offline. A new Help Center on markernorth.com.
• Navigator for Android is on Google Play; iPhone and iPad stay on TestFlight for now.
• The turn card shows real-world distances (tap REAL to switch to map distances), and voice timing follows them. Spoken directions in 12 languages (Options > Voice).
• Linked phones and tablets: the pairing page lists each one with when it was last seen, and you can remove one on its own.
• Phones and tablets without the app: pair any browser with the link or QR code.
• Twitch player in Navigator’s Media tab on your PC; phones and tablets get an Open in Twitch button.
• Public segment leaderboards on markernorth.com: post your clean times between cities by name or as Anonymous.
• Navigator Pro: ask Shadow anything (AI dispatcher), load board (with Shadow pitching the best load), my company from the game’s save with fleet news from Shadow, explorer, weekly report card, the game’s police record in your safety rating, hours co-pilot, driving coach, trip replays, road atlas, dashcam (with OBS clips), owner-operator books, CDL training, fuel strategy, freight contracts, roadside inspections, convoy board, ride-along link, streamer kit, segment history, truck buttons and the Pro role on Discord. • The Marker North telemetry plug-in is updated (truck buttons for Navigator Pro). Restart ATS after updating.
• CAPS Setup can repair the version you have installed, and opens the Hub when you choose Finish.
• Big mod lists build right away: Navigator finds your mod files itself when ATS hasn’t written them all to its log yet. Only mods with no file at all are left out, and each one is named.
• A yard or company mod that lists a cargo you don’t have no longer stops the map build; that cargo is skipped, as ATS does.
• Fixed: a finished map could be thrown away at the last step when it was rebuilt with the same mods.
• Build reports name the real cause, such as a mod file moved during the build or an antivirus removing part of Navigator.
• Reconnect this PC: when your PC’s connection to your account stops working, sign in again from the CAPS tray icon. CAPS Setup asks you to sign in when an update finds the connection isn’t working, and a wrong password now takes you back to the sign-in step.
• Navigator is free for every driver, with no end date and no payment card.
• The map builder changed, so Navigator builds your map once after this update. Your current map stays on screen while it builds.
